Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist - Probationary appointment, effective 9/1/25. NYS certification required. Minimum salary $51,518 plus stipend for master’s degree and graduate credits, actual salary based on education and experience pursuant to the wage schedule posted on the district’s website. We encourage you to visit queensburyschool.org for more information about our district. 

Job Qualifications

NYS certification required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies.
  • Provide therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy through professional development.
