Job Description

Tutor Needed – Queensbury Union Free School District
Queensbury Union Free School District is seeking a NYS-certified tutor to work with students within the district. With a current need for morning hours for a high school senior. Additional information can be provided during an interview for this assignment and other opportunities. 
Pay: Starting at $44 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and tutoring services in specific subjects. Tailor lessons to meet each student's learning needs and goals.

• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement. Develop personalized learning plans that cater to their academic challenges.

• Monitor and report on student progress. Regularly adjust lesson plans and strategies based on student performance and feedback.

• Help students with test preparation, homework assignments, and study skills to enhance their academic success.

• Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and discuss any concerns or additional support needs.
