Tutors Needed – Queensbury Union Free School District

Queensbury Union Free School District is currently seeking a NYS certified tutor to support students within the district — with an immediate need for daytime hours.

Starting Pay: $44 per hour
Location: Queensbury UFSD
Certification: NYS Certification required
Preferred: Special Education (all certifications welcome to apply)

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and tutoring services in specific subjects. Tailor lessons to meet each student's learning needs and goals.

• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement. Develop personalized learning plans that cater to their academic challenges.

• Monitor and report on student progress. Regularly adjust lesson plans and strategies based on student performance and feedback.

• Help students with test preparation, homework assignments, and study skills to enhance their academic success.

• Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and discuss any concerns or additional support needs.
