School Psychologist, High School and Elementary School - Anticipated probationary position effective 8/24/26, with 7 days for summer of 2026, 11 month position each year after. NYS certification required. Job Qualifications

NYS certification required. 

General Job Description, Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Intervention & Counseling: Provide direct counseling (individual or group) to help students with anxiety, trauma, social skills, and emotional regulation.
• Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop positive behavioral interventions, classroom management strategies, and academic support. 
• System-Level Support: Implement school-wide programs to improve school climate, safety, and academic performance.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify academic disabilities, cognitive abilities, and social-emotional needs to determine eligibility for special education services.
